Terms of Use

1. The service

Sam’s Language Lab provides original adult English-learning activities, exam-format practice, teacher-development material, AI-assisted teacher tools and optional human written feedback. It is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Cambridge University Press & Assessment.

2. Eligibility and accounts

The service is intended for people aged 18 or over. Users must provide accurate account information and protect access to their account.

3. Free access and subscriptions

The free demonstration includes the first two units of each learner level and one complete task in each available Exam Practice part. Paid access, prices and billing periods are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Apple or Google account settings. The applicable store’s cancellation and refund rules apply.

4. Human feedback

Human feedback is written educational guidance, not a guaranteed exam result. One feedback credit covers one eligible written submission. The normal delivery target is three business days after a valid submission is received. A single review does not include unlimited revisions. Submitted work and delivered feedback are retained for no more than 90 days after delivery, subject to payment disputes, fraud prevention and legal requirements.

5. Acceptable use

Users must not abuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, upload unlawful or identifying third-party material, impersonate another person, or copy and redistribute protected content.

6. Educational scope

Scores, strategies and model answers support learning and do not guarantee a qualification, grade or outcome. Users remain responsible for official exam registration and decisions.

7. Availability

The service may change to improve quality, safety or compatibility. We will make reasonable efforts to preserve paid access and saved progress, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

8. Intellectual property

The App, branding and original educational content belong to the provider or licensors. Users receive a personal, limited, non-transferable licence to use the service.

9. Privacy

Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy.

10. Consumer rights and law

Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded. These terms are governed by the laws of Brasil, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply where the user lives.
